We just secured the public domain tweetstopper.com and we’re putting it up for sale. I’ve been thinking a lot about Twitter recently and have been looking into domains like tweetopia, and twitterati, but of course all the good and semi-obvious stuff is taken (even the laterally-thinking domain, followd — i thought i was real clever when i thought of that…apparently clever, yes, but still too late). One thing I’ve been thinking about a lot is the load of auto-dms I get from following people. I’m fine with DMs, but I’m not okay with “thanks for following” when it comes in batches of 20-30 a day. So that was on my mind when I check the availability of TweetStopper.com. I think it would be a great domain for some kind of twitter spam blocking app. So, go out there, make the app, and come back to us when you want the domain.
